I am so far quite impressed with this site. It seems very straightforward to use. I do have just one query though. Do people email me if they are interested at my personal virgin email address or do I have to keep checking this site to see if there is any interest do I?

No you don't need to keep checking because people will fill out a private form to email you if they want your offer or request. They won't know your email address, unless you choose to email them back.
